About the Writers:

Nancy Huang grew up in America and China. She is a winner of the 2016 Write Bloody Poetry Chapbook contest, an Andrew Julius Gutow Academy of American Poets Prize, a James F. Parker Award in Poetry, a 2015 YoungArts Finalist prize, and more. She has received fellowships from Voices/VONA and Tin House. Her debut poetry collection, Favorite Daughter, is out by Write Bloody Publishing. 

Thea Matthews is a BlaXicana American poet, activist-poetivist-curator, scholar as well as educator born and raised in San Francisco, CA. She has received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2017. As a seasoned spoken word artist, Thea frequents the San Francisco Bay Area literary scene; and has featured at literary festivals such as Beast Crawl and Lit Crawl San Francisco. She also has been published by her alma mater, For Harriet and Rag Queen Periodical. Currently, she is working on a thematic collection of poetry that intersects the natural world with the complexity of trauma, grief, and resiliency. Christine No is poet, essayist and producer. She is a Sundance Alum, VONA Fellow, two time Pushcart Prize Nominee and Best of the Net 2017 Nominee. You can find her work in: The Rumpus, sPARKLE+bLINK, Columbia Journal, Story Online, Apogee, Atlas And Alice, as well as various anthologies. Christine’s chapbook “The Disappearing Girl” is forthcoming in 2018, by Dancing Girl Press. She looks good on paper; but she spills a lot. Like a baby.
