I am a writer and a creative producer with experience in soup to nuts film/media production, budget management, team oversight, client relations, and event management. I have worked independently, as a staff producer at a commercial production company, and in-house directly with marketing / creative departments and clients making commercials, music videos, short and feature length films and corporate story & content. Some of the clients I have worked with include: Conoco, AT&T, Levis, TED Women, Dr. Martens, Ford Fusion, Red Bull, Google[x] and currently Salesforce.com
My film festival and distribution experience includes the Sundance Film Festival, GENART, Tribeca Films, and Vimeo Staff Picks, among others. My screenwriting work competed to the final round of scripts considered for the Sundance Institute / A3 Asian American Screenwriting Lab Fellowship.
My writing has been widely published in print and online, I am the 1st Place Poetry Winner in the 2016 Litquake writing contest, and I have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. I also work with two literary nonprofits - Nomadic Press (Oakland, CA) and Quiet Lightning (San Francisco, CA) - as a board member, organizer and curator. My recent essay (RE)Writing Mother was featured on The Rumpus in May 2017.
